: my small Ig. seems to be in perfect health besides the fact that he has a small growth protruding from his upper lip on the left side. It almost appears to be protruding from under the scalles from inside his mouth. Is this dangerous? if so is their over the counter treatment? will I need to take him to the vet? and do all vets take care of iggys? I dont think its his diet, I watch what he eats and he's a little fattie. Is this serious? please help me,any responce would be helpfull,
: My little Tasha would be very thankfull

First, no not all vets treat reptiles, second, if it were mine, I'd take it to the vet. It could be mouth rot or he could have damaged it by bumping into something. He might need antibyotics. First find a vet that deals with reptiles, it's not that easy. Ask the vet questions you can answer to see he he knows anything about reps. You'll eventually need a good vet so find one now when you're not in deep trouble. That's my opinion.
