? disturbing ig's sleep

I've been having to feed Jade in the mornings before I leave for work...about 7:00. His light times are 9:30 - 9:30. When I climbed up into his cage this morning to leave his food I must have woke him because he was looking at me when I got up there. My question is am I stressing him by waking him early? Does it take ig's a while to go back to sleep like most of us?
