: : : : We've always had luck with putting a clean t-shirt rubbed on yourself into their cages usually under their hide boxes.It gets them used to your scent.We also found wearing a t-shirt that you've held them with for a day or two so they smell their scent on you. : : That and lots of patience,patience.We usually hold them later in the evenings also,,they're more calm. : -------------------------------------------------- : in spike old hide box i had cut up t shirt.im not sure if they had my sent on them.but he likes shirts. : i usally hold spike in the late afternoon. : take alittle nap with him.so he can gain trust with me.some time i will reach in to cover him up and he will be alright when i bet him but when i go to move my hand he freaks and runs fast.then i have to get him calmed down and put to bed : jess-human : spike-iguana : ---------------------------------------- : in loving memory of : - buddy #1 - : & : - buddy #2 -
