Hi Karen...gee Im stumped...How old is yer ig again? Healthy in every way eating, pooping, activity? Has he been checked for mites? That dark of a color pattern is either natural or bacterial. Could it be natural/more mature colors coming thru? Could it be bruises? Hitting or rubbing himself against something in his enclosure or ?
If its anything that looks abnormal I would run him by a vet and ask if you need to make an appt for him. Have the vet take a looksy he/she will let ya know if this is something to worry about.
