super to hear that she's been to the vet (+ that you DIDN'T settle for the local vet ~ who sounds like a jerk btw) ...

did they by any chance do blood work on her??? that's the best way to catch calcium level problems ~ *before* it's MBD ... i'd just wonder/worry about that since she's broken her tail 2x and now her toe ... (i'm a paranoid mom! *grin*)

that said ... my iZ did the same thing when he was younger ~ must've been doing the "flying leap" thing across his enclosure and broke a finger ... i think younger igs can be accident-prone just like younger humans ... sometimes accidents just happen ...

no need to empty out her enclosure ~ just re-think what in there is all ... the knit-material is most likely the culprit ... it's bad news ~ and i agree, that's prob'ly how she got hurt ~ that's the problem with something that has that small of holes, the claws get stuck and the ig gets hurt ...

you want to use something with the biggest possible holes/openings ... (i've used plastic mesh with 1" squares ... ) ... besides being safer for little fingers + toes, it adds a ton of climbing surface which iZ always loved ...

all in all, sounds like the 2 of you are doing great + sounds like she's very happy! :)
re-think her 'sunning' enclosure is all ...

oooops ~ supper's here ~ gotta run ...

Bon. + iZ
