For the pros: Reptile Mites or Just Bugs ?????

Hey I got one for the pros...I once bought these reptile pellets and left them out of the fridge next to the tank. A few weeks later, after feeding Freddy a small amount of the pellets with his salad, I noticed something move in his food. When I took a closer look, the pellets were covered in tiny little bugs. So, I opened the container and I find that the entire container of pellets was contaminated by these little bugs. I took it back to the store and the guy told me that they need to be kept in the fridge. Needless to say, i cleaned the tank and disinfected it and all the fixtures. I hadn't seen them anymore until this morning when I saw 1. SAW 1. They are so small that they are really hard to miss. They dont look like arachnids or fleas, they look more like little termites. Not sure though. Anyway, it was the same bug I had seen last month. What do you guys think.
