So many questions...advise????

Im new to the forum and will be posting pics of Freddy for all of you to check out. II've had Freddy for about 4 months, and got him when he was 3.5-4" svl. He's been to the vet already, had his poop checked out, and has even taken anti-biotics for some swollen fingers (long story). He seems to be doing ok now. He's now about 5" svl, and growing. In 4 months I've gone through some sh@t with him, but its all been fun. Now He is moving from a 20 gall aquarium to a 5' X 5' X 3' enclosure and I guess its a good time to ask questions.
So many questions...so little time...

-Bathroom Ediquate: I used to do the bathtub thing, but got scared since my wife is pregnant. If I build a lagoon into his enclosure, will he do his THANG in it??? If not, how can I train him???

-Eating: I am currently feeding him a combo of the Iguana den diet and the MK diet. He seems to like it, but how much should he be eating???

-How far away should the heat lamp be from the tallest part of his enclusre (basking spot) ???

-Do the really trained Igs get used to a certain routine ex. when i get home from work, wake up in the AM,...and does that affect his behavior?

Thats it for now, I'll let you know when I post the pics on the web. Thanks for all you help.
