Sorry, Candace, but I just realized this since I am sitting here with an application for an Animal Shelter Facility License. As much as we do need the word to get out and help all of the small rescue operations, there are rather stiff fines ($100,200,500)associated with unlicensed rescues/shelters - at least in the U.S.. Now, granted, the USDA may not even bother with operations at such a low level but it's better to know potential repercussions before they boot you in the arse. Those that may be operating out of their home may want to take this into consideration.
Again, I apologize, but better to have a little rain now than a monsoon when it's least welcome.....
