: I know that iguanas tend to slow down on their
eating during the winter months, but exactly how
low does it get. My iguana is about 1.5 yrs old,
32" total length(8"svl). He eats maybe the
equivalent of 1/3 cup or so, tops!. Is this
normal. (had him tested for parasites and worms,
came up clean) any suggestions???
This is going to sound like a broken record, I too have the same trouble with our ig. She's four and has been very restless and not eating or pooping like her summer self, and we live in Fla. You'll get use to their habits but I stll worry whenever they change their habits.Keep detailed records of everything you baby does, it helps to look back and see, yep she did this last year at this time. I still like to believe they know something about themselves that we don't.
