:Do you think that could they be the problem? But, Habib eats them too, and has had no diarrhea. Does the sensitivity to fruit vary from ig to ig?
Perhaps it could vary from ig to ig. This wouldn't suprise me. Still, I would definitely check for worms/parasites anyway.
:he voluntarily ate a tiny spec of gravel when I opened the door of his cage to let him walk into the house by himself. Habib does that too. Why? Have you heard of that before? Why would they eat tiny rocks/gravel?
They are not always the brightest. Salvador, my last iguana, had a necropsy and they pulled out a few large rocks, a penny, and a toy 6" slug in his stomach. If it doesn't taste half bad, some iguanas will eat anything! I also had to rip my bra out of his throat once-- 1/3 of it was already in his mouth (wireless of course)! He was rediculous (but so loveable)! The only odd thing Sleestack tries to eat is carpet, but I think every iguana likes carpet for some reason.
:So it could in fact, be the sunshine that's making him go wonky.
Oh I would bet on it! ;-) That's no reason for the runs though :-(
