: If you are feeding fruit, sometimes even a little of a certain type can lead to the runs. Sleestack for instance cannot eat rasberries for some reason (stinky runs) with even just a couple, but blueberries he has no problem with.

...How interesting. Thanks for that idea. I have, in fact, been giving him grapes lately for the first time. But I just barely learned that grapes aren't good for igs so I was going to stop feeding them to them. Do you think that could they be the problem? But, Habib eats them too, and has had no diarrhea. Does the sensitivity to fruit vary from ig to ig?

: Could he be getting into something outside-- grass, dirt, plants, etc? Maybe something out there is making him sick. (make sure area is pesticide free)
No, this isn't the problem. He is locked in his new cage the whole time he is outside. There are only silk plants inside, no pesticides, and no dirt. I always check to make sure they're not eating the fake plants. I did notice today that he voluntarily ate a tiny spec of gravel when I opened the door of his cage to let him walk into the house by himself. Habib does that too. Why? Have you heard of that before? Why would they eat tiny rocks/gravel?

: It is common for them to become solar charged and crazy like after sun exposure. This is them in their natural state! It can be like they revert back to the wild (not your nice little pet anymore ;-)
...Well, this is good to know. I thought he was going crazy. It seriously shocked me the first time he did it last week. I had no idea he could move that fast! He just took off and ran right into the wall. I'm glad to know it's at least sorta normal for a solar-charged ig to do. He is getting at least six hours a day of unfiltered natural sun light in his cage. (I check on him about every 15 minutes to make sure he's not over heating and that he is misted and well fed.) So it could in fact, be the sunshine that's making him go wonky.

: Anyway, good luck with that and I hope you find out what is ailing him.
...Thanks xta. I appreciate your insight and ideas.
Diana
