I have some concerns about Iggy - his head is turning brown - he always had some brown there - since we got him, but it is even MORE brown now - all the way to him upper lip. It isn't blistery or anything like that. At his vet appointment (last month) I pointed this out and the vet said it was 'ok' - so I decided to let it go. He has grown by leaps and bounds and all fecal tests were negative...he is a healthy lil guy according to the vet. I have included a recent pic here...and older ones are on the website. The one of him on my hand shows the SMALL brown area he had - and you can see in this one that it is really brown now.

I am not so convinced the vet is right. It would seem to me that as bright as his colors are right at the neck area (he has great blues coming in) his head would not be so brown. I am stuck now trying to figure out what else can cause this...I have heard possible fungal infection, bacterial infection, etc...but the vet didnt find anything like that... I was thinking it could be unshed skin or something else...

Any ideas on what could be making the brown spread? Or what i can do to test out some theories on my own. I am losing confidence in my vet over this...and could use some suggestions from the folks here if you got them.
