about 3 days after i brough roach home he turend that very same brown color and whould hide and not move in one corner of his cage. siince then his color has retured and he is now very active. at first i would put him in a warm bath and let him sit on my shoulder in front of the basking light, thinking it was temp. since the fact that the problem has disappeared, i think your ig just has to get used to his/her new surroundings, dgive it time and lots of heat and uv.
