O.k. lets see... Today Benny ate...

Collards, Dandy Leaves, green beans, parsley, fresh watercress, a few leaves of fresh spinach, Kale, shredded Butternut Squash, Hibiscus Leaves, and a little papaya. (No banana today, have to go shopping)

Most of the quantities are small portions with more collards & Dandy Leaves than the rest.

I tend to change thing everyday to keep him interested but he eats everything anyways! More when shredded carrots are used???

Hope this give you some answers.

James & Benny

: I've had this idea for a while, and am just now finding time to sit down and do it. I'd like to ask all of you to post exactly what your ig had to eat today. Please don't use yesterday's menu, or what you plan tomorrow, but what you fed the day you read this. Please list all ingredients, including suppliments. I would appreciate a few minutes of your time to do this.

: Also, please don't blast anyone's feeding post directly. We all know everyone has different ideas, and we can discuss the merits of one recipe against another in other posts. The idea is to just get a cross-section of what is fed in a typical day across the Kingsnake community. The value of this, is, in my opinion, educational. (And to satisfy my curiosity)

: Here's mine. (and I thought about doing this today AFTER I had fed Bug)

: About 75% greens - Mostly dandelions, six hibiscus leaves, four grape leaves, one mustard green leaf

: Shredded butternut squash - A piece about 1 inch x 2/12 inches

: 5 shredded green beans

: 1 hibiscus flower, separated into petals.

: No suppliments

: The above pretty well fills a 9" deep dish ceramic pie plate.

: My motivation is to find a consensus on what we all feed, and what's available out there. I do believe variety is important. By the way, I'm in KY, in case location as to availability of foodstuffs is important.

: Best Regards to all,

: JohnT
