Ok, I think we all agree that SOMETHING needs to be done about this. I would call the local SPCA about this so that whoever is running the carnival gets booted! (Or at least inform and petition, make fliers, ANYTHING to rally about of the type of animal they are giving away and how they are being treated)...what a waste of such precious animals! :(

I admit, I did not really understand all the fuss about Iguana's being overpopulated and distrubted etc. But then I caught wind of just what were talking about. Recently I was at the local Fair when I saw many people carrying around little Hamster Cages carrying Lizards. I stopped someone and realized they were Baby Iguanas of about 6 Months of age. I found out for 3 Dollars you could try to toss a ring around a fake duck's neck , and you'd get one! I stopped most of the people and asked them if they knew how big it would grow , etc etc, and everyone, EVERYONE , responded with, I'll Just wait till it Dies Anyway. To make it worse, I saw people slamming them against the cages, trying to "wake them up" when the poor things were zoning out. I was going to try and get some, and put them up for adoption but It was no use. I do not have the room to house any more Iguanas. I just thought I'd share that story with you all. Thanx.
