Iguanas Given Out a Fairgrounds!

I admit, I did not really understand all the fuss about Iguana's being overpopulated and distrubted etc. But then I caught wind of just what were talking about. Recently I was at the local Fair when I saw many people carrying around little Hamster Cages carrying Lizards. I stopped someone and realized they were Baby Iguanas of about 6 Months of age. I found out for 3 Dollars you could try to toss a ring around a fake duck's neck , and you'd get one! I stopped most of the people and asked them if they knew how big it would grow , etc etc, and everyone, EVERYONE , responded with, I'll Just wait till it Dies Anyway. To make it worse, I saw people slamming them against the cages, trying to "wake them up" when the poor things were zoning out. I was going to try and get some, and put them up for adoption but It was no use. I do not have the room to house any more Iguanas. I just thought I'd share that story with you all. Thanx.
