if he's still smallish, just some kind of tray lined with a few paper towels might work ... doesn't have to be anything fancy, just so you use the same thing everytime and it's easy to clean!

that's pretty much how iZ got tub trained ~ he wouldn't go in his enclosure and i'd put him in the tub 1st thing when he got out and *PRAISE* him when he'd go and then he got to roam around + play, etc ...

+ a side note ...
as soon as he'd raise his tail and start going, i'd praise him but also repeat "go bathroom" as a kind of chant ... "gooooooood dragon go bathroom! go bathroom dragon ... "
and he learned what "go bathroom" means! very helpful when we moved and the tub looked VERY different and also very helpful on nites when he doesn't WANT to ~ i tell him "go bathroom 1st dragon" and he's learned he can stay in the tub as long or short as he wants, he's just gotta poop before he can get out ...
