James, I'm wondering if you are using a UV source and a basking source as well as the black light or if the black light is taking the place of the basking source. Please let us know.
Also, if you are looking for a primary heat source you might want to look into a radiant heat panel as opposed to any form of light bulb (with the possible exception of an ActiveUV bulb). RHP's put out heat without any associated light and therefor can be run 24/7 without disturbing your ig's sleep cycle, are safer than CHE's IMHO, and are reported to be more energy efficient.
Let us know exactly what you are attempting to accomplish with this bulb so we can give more educated ideas to you...
