However, and I say this having been guilty of it myself a time or two in my life, sometimes, when we want something such as a pet really bad, we tend to forget to keep in mind what is in the best interest of everyone involved in the situation, including the animal. Most times when the best interest of the animal is not taken into consideration in the first place, it is them who suffer the most -even though that was never the intent of the human.

So, what you will find here is many people who know the current problems with all the unwanted adult iguanas who get literally thrown away or placed in available foster care. They are trying to prevent that from happeneing at every avenue by making sure that they get out the best in care information and that includes the time demands of the iguana.
