Thank God for someone lie you who does heir homework first!!!We've been in herp stores and toooo many times have heard "Mom I want an ig" and Mom has caved in not realizing this lizard can grow to 6 ft. long!I even heard a parent say they'd get rid f it if it gets that big. We have tried to talk to people here into getting a smaller lizard, like a BD, which is now more popular. Check with your vet, ours lets us know when there's an ig who needs a home, or any other lizard . Good luck your new Ig will be a lucky Ig and will have you trained in a minute.They are lovng and have great personalities.
