: : I have two igs of roughly the same age they get a proper diet, but on one of the igs the last three inches of his /her tail has lumps just under the skin they don't look infected and do not seem to cause pain when touched.Anyone have any idea what this might be? As a side note he/she does whip with the tail quite alot are they old injuries?
: hi my iguana just had the same thing and the vet amputated the bad part of the tail its part of tail rot / dry gangereen . they nip the tail and stitch it up so it heals also give him baytril to prevent infection it cost me 300 hundred dollars this week with a follow up visit in 2 weeks good luck mike nj.
