actually, it's snakes that have the highest possibility of carrying salmonella ...

yeah, mostly OFF ~ the CDC's own records state that 80% of all reported cases of Salmonella are FOOD-RELATED, only 2 - 7% are reptile related.
the CDC is NOT *seriously* entertaining thoughts regarding a blanket ban on reptiles ...

so the fact that they COULD HAVE done something WORSE makes what they DID DO ok???
the fact that they COULD HAVE shot it, but didn't, makes hitting it with something 5x it's size ok???

and the fact that supposedly *trained* Animal Control officers were there to applaud the teen's actions doesn't bother you at all???
