I think theyy need to focus on FORCING pet stores to post a slamonella warning. There are now toys for dogs that have tested postitive for salmonella. I don't think that have been any deaths where people are aware that there MAY be a problem. The key is to educate people. They haven't banned home cooking yet and it is higher on the list.
