the rule of thumb is that each PIECE of greens should not be larger than the size of an ig's head .... an ig should be eating ALOT more than a pile of food that's the size of his head .... ESPECIALLY a young, growing iglet!
remember that igs do NOT CHEW .... they pretty much swallow things whole, so things like squash + zucinni or fruits should be cut into skinny little pieces ....
when iZ was younger, he would eat 3-4 times a day ... igs won't OVER eat so with a little ig (especially a picky eater) it's ok to have food out for him all day long .... you may need to put out fresh food in the afternoon tho ... a good rule is that if it doesn't look fresh enough for YOU to eat, then don't feed it to your ig ....
