A little side note to the picking up thing. I pick up my IG at least twice a day, once to get him from his bed and once to put him in his bed (talk about spoiled). I have been doing this for over six months. Sometimes he doesn't mind, other times he freeks out. I think that some of it depends on his mood. Sometimes he doesn't want to be bothered. I have also found that if I talk to him before and during picking him up he takes it better. Good luck.
