Sometimes it takes a few days for a new animal to settle into their new home. Just continue to provide the food and water. If you could post back and let people know what types of food you are trying and how you are fixing them (whole, chopped, sliced) that would help us. Maybe the problem is with what you are offering or how you are preparing it. Also is this a baby or older iguana? I'm afraid more information is needed but once you provide that there are several helpful people at this forum.
In the meantime, I would encourage you to look over caresheets for iguanas and make sure that your iguana's environment (heating, lighting, etc) and diet are correct. One site is:
http://www.sonic.net/~melissk/ig_care.html
It is a very large site with tons of information on there but it is broken down so that you can go directly to parts of it. Then when you have time go back and read parts you skipped! It is being updated all the time as new information comes forth regarding the care of iguanas.
Please write back and provide more information. And my personal view of iguana leashes.....waste of money & possible harm can come to your iguana with its use. (The website I posted has a section on taming your iguana.)
