: I know most of this area is about greens, but I need help with my desert iguanas!!!
Actually, I've seen many posts about cyclura and am happy that more people are getting these amazing lizards. There are also a few posts about desert igs here too, look through and you should find some good info.
: I have 3.1.4, the 4 being captive bred this summer. None of them are eating too well.
Did you breed them yourself? How old are the juveniles? How long have you had them?
: The large juvenile male is the only one holding his own. Everyone else is losing weight.
Are the adults losing weight also?
How much weight?
Is the bone starting to show at the base of the tail?
: I have had the big ones since June in an outside pen, and they did well, even digging their own burrows,
: and attacking the food plate when I placed it in there. Now they eat very little, the only thing that they will always definitely
: eat are dandelion flowers, but it is winter.
Are you still housing htem outside???
Where are you located (state or country)?
What are your temperatures like?
:One hatchling is doing well, but the others
: have grown very little and eat little, only coming out to bask for an hour or so a day. I
: don't want to lose any of them, they are warm enough.
How warm are they? They should have ambient temp of at least 80 but over 90 is preferable. Basking should be at about 120 degrees.
