it all started with an "accident" of not cleaning my freshwater (swordtail) tank on time. it started growing algae. i noticed they were thriving in there, and reproducing like nobody's business. i also started to notice that it was getting to be too much algae for my little snail to take care of! so, i was going to just dump some today (into the garden) and i thought~ hey, why not see if the lizards will eat it? it's probably ot lots of fish protein and who know what else that might be good for them. it's really dark green, seaweed is good for us, right?
anyway, they LOVED it!~ (particularly the beardies, but they are pushovers anyway!!!) even one of my water dragons ate some!!! and they never eat anything that isn't moving!
i cannot honestly believe that i'm the first person to have thought of this one! just lookihng for some feedback! am now trying to grow algae in quantity!!!!
;D

: I've never heard of using algae which doesn't mean anything LOL If this is what you mean, tell me more! Sounds interesting.
