Two things came to my mind when I read your post. Please don't be offended by the first one.....but, are you absolutely certain you have a female? Could your ig be a stunted male that hasn't developed the usual male characteristics? The second thing that came to mind was that perhaps sometime during her incubation temps weren't right or something and she is sterile. If she's sterile, I personally would breathe a sigh of relief! I've gone thru our female prolapsing and having to have emergency spay to save her life. It was VERY scary and 4 months later she still hasn't quite made it back to pre-op weight. She's healthy, etc. but the whole thing took its toll on her. Which is why I personally recommend that females be spayed if you have no intentions of breeding them.
It's easy to me to spot a gravid iguana but perhaps that's because I've been gravid myself a couple of times....once with our twins! LOL You should be able to see a noticeable weight gain thru the mid section and it almost will look like she swallowed large, slightly oval marbles. Generally a female will have her first clutch at age 3 years regardless of having bred or not. Since she's five now I wouldn't be worried unless you had wanted to try to breed her. Quite honestly I don't know if there is any sort of testing that could be done to determine if she's sterile and if there is, you might not want to put her through it anyway.
