Hi Des! I think I've talked with you over at Acme a long time ago because I remember Vega$' name! LOL Back when our Lightning was having her troubles I discussed with her vet how I had thought at one time that she was absorbing the eggs (this was prior to her starting to lay them). He told me that re-absorption could cause serious problems, too, and even be fatal. So, I thought I'd pass that along to you altho I think you are a long time "igmom" and probably know this already......but it never hurts to repeat oneself!

Those pix you have would probably help a lot of folks here who have never seen or are not sure of what they are seeing. Our igs defy the books, too.......having never read them I suppose! Males are supposed to want to mate at 3 (I think) and Thunder took out after Lightning before he was 2!
