I know if its cold outside, louie likes hot water in her bowl (I make sure she doesn't touch it) for steam and humidity, and gets a warm mist for humidity, but if it's hot outside or in my apartment, she gets a cold bowl of h2o and a cool mist. I think it just depends on ambient temp, even though they're cold blooded they still like env controls like we do!
