Moving to FLorida and have a few questions

Currently, I live in Philadelphia and have a great set up for my iguana. I am moving to Florida in 3 weeks and was wondering if anyone can give me ideas as to how I will need to change my set up. I am buying a big wooden enclosure, but I hear it needs to be in the shade. What about ants? I need some info Thanks
