Hi
I have to say that I didn't mean that pine bark as a substrate is to recommend, on the contrary. The only thing I was after was the discussion on how they react to captivity, and the possibility to be able to set up cage to minimize the risk of ingestion of it.
Super Mario is easy so that's an easy game for them to learn...have you tried Quake :-)
To answer the location part...I live in Sweden, hence the "freeroaming is not an option" part. All winter we have like 25-35 % rel. humidity in our electrically heated homes! But I agree that it's good to have the regulations that we do, if onle more people followed them, the animals would feel better!
