I have a question.
I have a 4 year old female iguana. She just laid eggs for the second time a few weeks ago. I keep her in a large wood and wire enclosure complete with basking lights and an iguana light. I remember last year after she laid eggs her toes started turning black and she lost most of the toes on her front feet. I thought this must have been metabolic bone disease but i couldn't figure out how that could happen. I fed her the best food i can get. But this year she just laid eggs and now i am noticing that her toe nails have turned dark on some feet and on one or two of here toes she has lost the nails. I also noticed that the tip of her lips have turned dark and that she has darkend black things on her head. I am quite worried about her. I dont want her to lose anymore toes as it is. I have her a bath today and she pooped out alot of stool and urine. i dont know what it could be. I feed her a diet of mostly romaine, alfalfa pellets, carrot shreeds, brocholi stems and other greens but never spinach. I also mist her.I just hope that someone can help me. Thankyou
