lunging + biting hey???
of course the 1st thought is to try giving him more in the morning + see if he really *does* think he's been starving all afternoon ...
give him a great big salad in the morning + see if that makes a difference or not ... obesity is not a problem igs tend to have, so don't worry about him eating "too much" ...

the lunging has me stumped, unless it's cuz he *thinks* he's gonna go hungry + that's why he's also lunging at you ... to show you HE's the boss + you'd best be taking better care of him????? (not that you're NOT!!!! no, i'm trying to increase my cranial capacity + think like an ig ....) ... hmmmmmmmm ...

the best way i know to prevent an ig from repeatedly biting is to NOT react + by not getting a reaction from you + seeing that biting doesn't have the effect he desires, he'll stop doing that ... great theory anyway ...
