Yikes! Poor Vega$!!!

I can't imagine how much pain she must be in!!!!!! I'm sure Des knows best, but for my pitiful 2cents' worth ... my vet covers Iggy's eyes when he/she gets upset and/or is having owies probed. Not the lowering-the-blood-pressure-thing to induce zoning out, but just covering the eyes. He says they are so unsure of things when that happens that they sit still, not knowing what to expect. (I am picturing poor Vega$ in sunglasses with cotton balls on the inside LOL) - but it is dark at night, isn't it? So probably no help, but I thought I'd at least throw that out there, ..however I'm sure the pain must be too great for much of anything to help. I just can't imaging the pain of having a constricting bandage on a tummy operation site - I'd be doing alligator rolls too, and a whole lot more besides! I'd bite everyone in sight! Kinda reminds me of having hubby present for childbirth..."There there dear, settle down..." SMACK, WHAP, curse and curse!! So kudos are due for Des as well. I'm sending ~~sleep~~ing thoughts!
PS - I am also sending ~~~smartening-up~~~ thoughts to g-babies' father .... you are so tactful and I KNOW you don't deserve the silent treatment. And even if you did, the girls don't deserve to be deprived of their "Yi-Yi!" Oh, yeah - to ramble further - I have a theory on the "Yi-Yi" name(ROFLMAO -- in proof-reading I see my finger didn't quite reach the "i", and you became "yo-yo" hehehe!). I bet it is combined somehow with hearing "iZ". (I know about these things,- my mother became "Gum-Gum")
