We know how excrutiating the whole egg thing can be. Mel and I think we can spare a little of our good vibe and send it on over to Vega$ and Des.

We found the best way to keep Mel still in in the bathtub or in her carrier. In fact, the first egg Mel laid was in the bathtub and all the eggs she laid at the vets were in here carrier. Now she is laying them on her basking shelf and when she is done, she lifts her tail so we can remove the egg. She has already eatten about 1/3 cup of food and has been drinking massive amounts of water.
