Mel went to the vet this morning. After the first shot of oxytocin she laid 2 eggs in one hour. The second injection brought only one egg before Mr D and I left. Mel is gonna spend the rest of the day at the vet getting oxytocin via IV in small doses to see if we can get this done.

On a seperate matter, the toe we thought was broken ... it appears as though she managed to sever a tendon and we have no idea how. The Doc says he will fix her up good as new.

Oh, I think this is gonna be a looooooooooong day.
