thanks for the info! He is defenitly stubborn about change in his diet! He just gives me this look of disgust when it comes to fruit!!??? I must have bought every type of good green they had at the store! I have been reading about all the things they can eat and he just does not seem to think that is what he should eat!I am determined to turn his eating habits around! The person that had him before also had cats and so he had lots of access to cat food and just got addicted. They did not think it mattered because he seemed okay!!! He seems okay however his spikes are very dry and some of them are just broken on the top. I have been spraying him lots and he drinks from the spray bottle! Is there anything else i can do to help his spikes?? thanks~ Kit

: I recently rescued an Ig from someone who was giving it a diet of cat food and lettuce!! I went out and bought all the right things to feed this ig but it refuses to eat the greens!! I finally broke down and ground up small amounts of cat food and mixed it in with the greens! This worked and he ate them like a pig!! Is this okay to do until i can wean him completly from the cat food?? I do not want him to starve!! Thanxs~~ kit
