A handful of my iguanas' spikes (on his back, I don't know if thats the correct word) have scabs on them (where they start growing) from times when I've handled him and he gets a little restless and gets cut while I'm struggling with him. Now when I handle him, the ones with the scabs sometimes fall off when he's stuggling to get away (and I put my hand on his back over his spikes). Just today he lost 3. They don't bleed because I think they are already dead. Could he be sick? Only a few are like that, and it only started when I started handling him a lot more often.
