thick, rubber cleaning gloves and cut the fingers out of them. I use mine to initially pick up my Igs and then, once they settle down, I take them off. Baby is tamer by the week, but our little foster guy is very feisty. He tore up my wrists when we first got him so I asked around for ideas and came up with this one. Hope it helps. (PS..I can relate to the church lady question! I just pop out a pic of Baby from my purse and say "nope! I like big lizards!" LOL They are always shocked.)
