Aloe Vera is GREAT used it all the time when we were kids, I can even kill a cactus think I have any hopes???? Id love to keep some as those iggy signatures sure are good LOL, i went out one day after a battle of wits with Double D (she wanted in the tub I wanted her out LOL) I swear people must have tought I was insaine and tried to slice my wrists LOL.
: I forgot to mention that it works quite well on human scratches too. I use it daily on my lovely iguana "signatures" which are scratched into my forearms and hands. (Last week at church a lady whispered to me, "Do you work with rose bushes?" I shook my head no and whispered back, "I have two pet iguanas.". She gave me a strange look, but oh well!
: Anyway, Aloe Vera is used as healing agent because it seems to speed up the healing process dramatically. It also prevents scaring. It's wonderful! No iguana owner shoudld be without a plant of Aloe in their home.
: No worries if you don't have a green thumb: I've had mine for literally years, and I can't seem to keep any other plants alive for long. Aloe veras are cactus-like plants which are hearty and easy to keep alive. They only need water every few *weeks* in the winter, and a tiny bit more often in the summer. And voila! You have your own super-healing, anti-scaring remedy for scratches and burns.
: (And no, I don't have stock in the Aloe Vera market... :) I just wanted to share this information with you because it really seems to help.) :)
