There are iguanas through Central America and South America, but there should be some differences among them (perhaps those two are more alike as they are closer-- came from common ancestor, but putting some distance between them would account for a slight variance I would think) I've seen a photo of a Mexican Iguana in Hatfield's book-- and this ig was very different from most I've seen in captivity, but I don't recall a photo of a Guatamalan Ig-- I'll have to look. The only reason I remember EXACTLY what the Mexican iguana looked like, is because Sleestack shares many similar characteristics (except his very long spines are curved and that iguana had straight long spines) But the eyes and coloration are very close. Harry's Dad thinks he's probably a cross breed. I at least believe he has some Mexican in him, however.
