I DO know my central and south american countries. As stated in my previous post, because they are within close proximity, I could see a common iguana line-- but there would be some differentiation due to them being apart to some degree. I don't believe iguanas are nomads that travel for miles on end across country borders! Obviously, the ones on the borders would intermix, but to use your logic, here would be no reason for any difference in iguanas throughout all of Central America. After all, one country is always close to the next. The color, size, and feature differences have to gradually change somewhere.
