The posts below are good guidelines. I would like to add a few important things: first and foremost always remember you are dealing with a wild animal that is unpredictable. Head bobbing generally is nothing to be worried about, but it is a warning! Also be very careful during breeding season male Iguanas can sense females monthly cycles are very agressive towards female Igs in the wild, and my final thought is that I don't how old your daughter is but all children should supervised while intereacting with reptiles. Hope some of that helped.
