First, stop feeding any kind of animal protein. Iguanas are herbivorous and with this kind of diet, you will be cutting many years off his life. Some of the damage has already been done, but you should stop now. Two great books are James Hatfield's Giant Green Iguana and Melissa Kaplan's Iguanas for Dummies. Below I have listed some sites that are essential for every iguana owner.

As far as the cage goes, as long as there is shade (and it is not too cold out), sunlight is always a good idea. Wire can be problematic for some iguanas as they rub their faces and acquire wounds (chicken wire is a no no) Rubber coated wire or the plastic wire mesh seem to not do as much damage.
