I read your post below (the one about how your iguana is more active lately etc.) and am now wondering why your iguana is acting weird. You mentioned that he's been about 80% more active and that you're worried about him pooping tons and making messes out of it. Why? Is that a sign of mating season? I've never gone through mating season with an iguana yet, so I'm looking for some signs etc.
Also, you said that you had to remind yourself that he was once potty trained...what did you mean by that? When it's mating season, do they poop a lot? Or like to smear it around for territorial reasons? I'm just trying to learn from you, since when we adopted Bobbit (the Petco ig) we were told he was a she, and so we didnt' think we'd ever have to worry about males in season. But, we've since learned that she's a he, and now I have a feeling that we're in for some surprizes of our own now that we know his true sex.
Could you please write back and try to explain to me (since I'm a male-newbie) what those "bad signs" you listed out were all about? I'd really appreciate it!
