Well, today Sleestack's behavior has changed drastically and I am worried (not that he is ill but worried for my own selfish reasons LOL) He has suddenly in 1 day become about 80% more active. He wanted out of his cage long before his usual potty break so I had to take him about 5 hours early (bad sign #1). And, then instead of his usual routine after potty time, he did not want another meal or to climb on top of his cage. (bad sign #2) Instead he has abandoned all normal routines and behavior, and proceeded to climb places he never goes and lick everything in sight. (bad sign #3) He is not crazy-hyper yet but it seems like he could be working up to this! (like previous years)

He is spending far more time on the ground wandering around which is freaking Flapjack (beardie) out and-- I have been yelling at the two of them all day to behave themselves and play nice--LOL! Flapjack's beard has been black all day.... lots of head bobbing and foot stomping at Sleestack being on the ground! And, of course his normal full throttle scampering across the room to Doink him in the face (although lately he stops short and just licks him, which is reciprocated with a Sleestack lick). I could tell that Flapjack is a bit nervous.... backing up, wondering if Sleestack will ever "doink" him back right after he runs up to him. It is really the most hilarious thing watching the two of them interact. I am just grateful that no matter how hyper Sleestack is, he never shows aggressive behavior towards Flapjack (sometimes I get the feeling like he knows that's his little freaky brother--and he actually likes him better than the humans in the house!)(but I realize one must always keep an eye on 2 lizards for safety reasons)

Anyway, to summarize... I am just hoping no matter how active Slee gets, that he doesn't resume his pooping 3+ times per day and finger painting it everywhere... that is the dreaded behavior I would like to avoid! Please let him continue his potty smarts! I can't go through this every year----ahhhhhhhhh!
