I feel for all the owners of females-- and worrying about the egg binding possibly every year---yikes! All my lizards are/have been male, and even though they can be a pain... I don't worry as much (maybe). Perhaps we all wonder if we could handle other iguana problems (opp. sex)--so we try to convince ourselves that our situation isn't so bad-- it could always be worse huh? At least that's what I do. In the past, whenever I spent over an hour cleaning Slee and his cage (daily), I would try to remember that he used to be potty trained... and it could be worse... he could be really mean and attack me OR he could be gravid and make me worry a lot.... ahhh, we'll tell ourselves anything to make ourselves feel better ;-) I still have my fingers crossed that he just had some extra energy today. I tubbed him twice and he went both times, but so far no accidents... (or finger painting)
