More joys of SEMINAL PLUGS

Sleestack released PART of a seminal plug a few days ago following a tub poo break, but the rest broke off and stayed inside the vent. I've been looking out for it-- I want to try to avoid going to the vet again with another stuck one. Well, today I saw it again after following his potty break, but it was stuck in the vent (over to one side). I tried to help him release it (with the aid of a kleenex) and lifting his tail. Quickly I realized it would be easier at eye level, so I moved him to the lizard room, to the top of his cage. I once again, tried to lift his tail and see if it was visibly sticking out. In the process I'm sure he felt like he was being molested as I felt near the base of his tail where the plug formed a lump, not far from his jewels! Well turned around, and gave me a wimpy bob and a half (without even extending his dewlap) to let me know this was not an area he appreciated me exploring! As it turned out, he sucked that darn plug back in anyway, so I left the poor guy alone! Hopefully he will release it on his own within the next week before it starts to dry up and build up larger. In the meantime, I tried to make it up to him by fixing him a nice dinner and apologizing profusely! ;-) This is all from an iguana who NEVER bobs at me! (it was kinda cute).
